Now I need to figure out what to do over spring break. I was tempted to just go to Vegas and drive out to San Diego to do some H and M charters because it's been a while but I need to save my money for pyramid.

Spring break is the ideal time to spend long, lonely, cold nights working the snag filled shores of freshly filled trophy walleye reservoirs. It will be depressing knowing that others are having fun in the sun, but at least you will save money.

Worst case scenario I buy a plane ticket late and it's more expensive but luckily since I'd be picking up a car and driving back I only need a ticket for one way so it shouldn't be that bad. Thanks for the link.

Just called pyramid again. They're back open. It's not the whole lake but the spot where I spent all my time last time is good to go so I'll be out there like March 11-16 or so. I'll be shipping my swimbait rod out beforehand so I'll definitely have it. Then I can just drive it back. I can't wait to throw big lures out there. Definitely plan on trying it all but I'm pumped to throw bbz1s and hudds and stuff to giant cutthroat.
