I wonder about these stats sometimes. The frontrange is reporting %109 and it's drier than hell out, haven't seen any normal snow or rain for months down here.

My guess is that's what they are waiting for. We do have a good snowpack this year so that should bring water level up pretty quick, as it melts. In the meantime may as well send the water downstream so someone can use it and maybe avoid a blowout like we had at Bear Creek Lake a couple of years ago.

These lakes are containment for Denver Water and we have to hope they know what they are doing. . .
