Default Monument Creek?

Has anyone ever tried to fish Monument Creek north of Monument Lake? I was thinking about walking up that way with a fly rod but would love any information about it. Is it even fishable/accessible? I don't care about the size of fish as long as they are catchable.

Shoot Hobiecat a PM... now that he's back, he's the resident expert on all things Monument.

It's not worth your time. Stream is filled in with very little flow. There's a culvert upstream of your arrow..suckers spawn there, but it's on private property. From Monument until you reach the Glen in Palmer Lake is all private property. On Shady Lane in the Glen you can catch 4 to six inch brookies that came down from the reservoirs..Not many of those there.

hobiecat, thanks for the insight. Saves me the headache of finding out its private property (and contains very few fish). I will check into those creeks slayer. Thanks again guys.
