Default Green Mountain Salmon Run Timing?

I snagged with my uncle well over 15 years ago. I wanted to give it a shot with the kids. Anyone will to share when they start running at Green Mountain? I know its different every year but when is a good time to start trying?

I don't have an answer to your question but I did drive by Green Mountain this morning...the Blue running into it is down to a trickle...the boat ramp is 15+ feet out of water. Is this normal for this time of year?

BIGMAC182,
Give those GM Kokes about another 3-4weeks.
I start scouting that area around the 1st of October or the last week of September just to see the status and whats moving up River, but big numbers start running around Mid Octoberish... Hope this helps!

If you go sooner keep us posted!
Good Luck on your ventures for Kokes

All I can tell you is its not what it used to be, gill lice has taken its toll on the koke population there.

Thanks for all the details. I will be up there for Elk hunting in Mid Oct so I guess I will bring my rod with me just in case.
