Ive been messing around with using glass beads for the body and a little KF for the wings.  I'll post a couple picks here in the next day or so.

MG, your desk is looking infested!  Nice looking bugs.

Nice stuff so far guys. I'm waiting for a few materials and the hooks to get in (should be today or tomorrow) then I have to decide what I'm going to use to cure the epoxy and I'll be tying. Anyone have any experience with making a drying wheel? I might try to do that.

when i think of ant patterns, the first thing I think of is a dry fly.  Just wondering, does anyone fish an wet ant patterns?
I do, they work to. It might just be that they look like a midge or something because I never really tie legs that stand out.

We seem to be set at 14 Tiers. Therefore I am tying 26 flies to ship to Epic. Is this a correct understanding?
Epic- Can you PM a shipping address?

That would be correct. Registration for the swap ended on the 28th.  Smiley I can't wait to get these flies. I'm not gonna be shipping mine in till more towards the end of the month though. I have to build a fly drying wheel, gotta wait for the motor to show up.  Wink

Harbor Freight - They are the nylon brissles from a parts cleaning brush. $1.99 for about a thousand. After you tie them in and trim you warm a set of twezzers and bend to shape.
