sometimes it's real hard to get down to the water in winter, the banks are very steep and they get a tom of snow up there.a ton of wind usually also.

I've iced it, caught gobs of little grayling and cutbos. Usually windy. Access not real good. Still a fun place!

slayer: didn't you catch some small tiger muskies there? wonder if they survived. must've been one of the dow's hidden plans to cut down on the graylings. but they only told us about stocking the lake trout.

It's here, but now that I've seen some pictures of juvenile pike with the same kind of vertical stripes I'm not sure it's a tiger muskie:

Yeah, the only reason I called it a tiger is cause thats what people tell me. I dont know what the heck it was and I dont care. I was fishing for large macs that time. All we got was little fish. The grayling are suckers for a 1/8 or 1/4 oz. gold kasty.

I drove by Joe Wright yesterday in a blinding snow storm coming back from working in the Boat. About 75% of the lake is frozen and I would think it would be ready in a week or so. I also pulled down the Laramie River road (it was nicley plowed) to take a look at Chambers. It is a little further behind Joe Wright. Barnes Meadow also had a decent amount of ice as well. Two more weeks or so and I will probably give it a go. Be safe boys and have a good time!
