I just relocated to Denver and really enjoy Ice fishing. I can't wait for season to begin. I enjoy catching all fish but target walleye and perch because I like to eat those.
I paid $66 for my non resident CO fishing license. I couldn't wait till 2007 to get on the Ice. I enjoy just catching all fish but target walleye and perch because I like to eat those. But I have paid $450 for Elk tag a few times also!
I have a Frabill Ultra light Quikfish. It's really light (32lbs) which is great to stay mobile. I have a FL-8 flasher and use a lantern/mr.buddy for heat. If you get cold you aren't going to have much fun. My motto. One of the most important things is a good pair of boots. Something with a big sole on it to keep your feet up off the ice. I have a pair of Cabelas Saskatchewan and would recommend them to anyone.
Does anybody have the Jiffy Stealth STX (32lbs) or Strikemaster Strike-Lite gas auger (20lbs) ? If so Pros/Cons.
If anyone would like to meet up on the Ice PM me. Good luck to all and be safe.
Here are few websites I frequent often and have some good information:
