Default Snake River Inlet

Has anyone been up near there to see if it is solid yet. I was up there about three weeks ago and there was one or two inches of ice, so it's probably frozen by now but I'm not sure. If it's frozen I'll probably get up there sometime soon.

That's a great place for early season kokanee action. Nice 13-15" kokes if you set up right over the channel in about 12-15' of water. The problem is that the channel is very narrow and can easily be missed. 3" is not a lot though unless there are not a lot of people. Next weekend should do it for that ice.

Thanks for the encouraging report.

[I was there on Nov 24th it was my first time Ice fishing. I caught 3 rainbows about 10-12" long. Caught them with fireballs. I tried jigging with a Pink jig and a meal worm but had no luck catching the kokes. The Kokes looked small.
