Default Ice fishing for Crappie

Any suggetions on locations for icing crappies? I know there are loads of crappie in Cherry Creek, but ice conditions are often less than optimal.

Any suggestions in the Loveland/Ft Collins area?

Dan

Hey Dan,

Have you tried Brush Hollow? I know I did quiet well there in early spring and I heard it has a safe cap on it right now. The ones I was catching were in the 10 inch range. Some were smaller but a lot of them were nice. The lake is 40 minutes from the Springs on 115. It is really small so Locating them would not be hard. I read if you fish a small pond like that, that you should just drill about 30 holes in the ice in a T pattern and then stick your Vex down each one till you find the fish. When you do sit down and hammer them.
