My ice shelter once blew all the way to the dam overnight at the contest there a few years ago. It was anchored down well also, but 50 mph continuous winds do havoc on them. Good luck
* * *No BS bud...About 5 years ago I took my 2 boys to the tourney there. We were all nestled away in the hut jigging, the oldest boy goes up to the camper for a sandwich and a couple minutes later all [email protected]
breaks out. The wind kicked up so bad it tore my 8" lag bolts out of the ice and away we went, one minute the hole was there then it was gone...lol...I jumped out trying to stop it but it dragged me clear to the dam. When my one son came down from the camper he was laughing his a$$ off, told me if that was bad I should see the camper. The wind had picked it up and slammed it against my truck!!! Needless to say we packed up and headed home.
