Default first to green mountain

I'm headed up to Green Mountain res this weekend and would like any info on where to fish. I will have to rely on my legs to get me on the lake since I don't have a snowmobile or 4 wheeler. Also, what are the fish biting on?

Thanks

if you want some kokanee they are biting well on swedish pimples tipped with wax worms or mealworms , then you can deadstick a second rod with a small pink jig , they are suspended over deeper water out from the north boat ramp , the macks are hitting small lipstick jigs with suckermeat , and tubes with suckermeat , the macks are in 45 to 80 feet of water , you just have to find um

orange and pink also white with orange , silver with red flash , lots of colors work , you dont have to have a jigging machine , but if you want to hold them over your holes alittle longer it dosent hurt to have one

It would be nice to hold them OVER the hole, I usually have trouble doing that! LOL

Orange jigs are usually the standard but like the king said other colors work well. If they are really hitting most jigs will work. Getting them to come through is usually an issue but the jigging machine helps a lot with that.

I've taken to jigging a HUGE flasher system by hand. Pain in the buttocks, but it seems to keep the kokes around, or draw them in a little. I jig it about every 10 minutes or so for about a minute. I've seen kokaneeking's jigging machine in action, and it is sweet.

Will be there Sunday...200 yards out from boat ramp, 200 yards to the right. Look us up!

I'll probably be out there too. I would like to catch a couple of kokes for the smoker.

I'll be there on Saturday in a HT sled with my son. I will probably be yelling at my new flasher because sometimes I'm a little slow with these technical tools. My 9 year old son will probably be telling me how to turn it on.
