Default I understand now....

Just spent the week in Granby and decided to dig in and figure out what the lake trout ice fishing allure was all about. Why are so many friends and forum members so passionate about it? I had taken a few weak attempts at ice fishing but never really understood. I got my butt kicked the first two days but then thanks to some help from friends and local intel, it started to come together. Just the prospect of catching a bruiser from 100 feet of water is thrilling enough but adding the dynamics of watching Lakers chase bait on the sonar made it an incredible experience. Thanks for all the help and patience. Can't wait to get back out.

Nice laker!

Even though I been slacking lately, I still enjoy chasing spring ice and going after aggressive suspending lakers. I'll be at Williams fork next weekend doing my usual.

Nice! I'm hoping to hit it one or two more times this ice season.
