Default Harvey Gap

Planning on hitting Harvey this Saturday, has anyone iced it in the last week or so? Last report I got was tons of dink perch. I am just wondering if I need a plank to get on and off?

A couple weeks ago you didn't need a plank but it wouldn't hurt to take one. Lots of small perch with a few 'gills and crappie the camera but they weren't biting real well. Brought home enough for dinner at least.

Thanks, the temps have been pushing 50 every day here so I didn't think the edges would be good. I will take the plank and try it

When the shore ice gets soft people lay planks from the shore to the sheet of ice to avoid getting wet.

Ice is good, edges are decent. Fishing sucks... Weed through a few dozen dinks to find 1 eater. Pike fishing has been slow as well.
