Default ice along front range monument north for kids

i want to take my boys tomorrow to get into some perch or something anyone have any good places to start

and how is the ice at monument lake

Um it's almost gone. I'm pretty sure the time for comfortable safe front range ice fishing is gone.

No that's truth. there was quite a few spots that looked sketch as hell

Kriley pond is a good spot for getting kids into fish. Just rainbows but you will catch them, the ice should still be good, and there is a chance for some memorable fish. I've seen a couple 20+ inch bows come out of there.
