Default Hut Suggestions

Anyone have advice on a hut that can fit 4-5 people within a $300-$500 price range?

I have never been ice fishing and am unsure of reputable brands or brands to stay away from. Picking up one for my Dad for Christmas.

Thanks for any insight.

Check out Polar Birds. Otherwise any of the Clams of Frabills will work fine.

I have the clam that is 6 sided... the roundish interior is so nice for groups. There is a regular sized one that holds 4 easily (fishing from the inside facing outwards). The bigger one holds 5-6. That design is so so nice because each person fishes to a corner. It spreads the people out. I dig it.

Quick flips are easier to move. Especially in the wind. Cubes are nice and roomy but if windy you have to stake 4 sides. Had both

Ended up getting my dad an Eskimo- the larger one, I believe it fit 6?

He's taking it back for the quickfish 3 as the 6 was just too big for his uses.

Thanks for the input!
