Default Taylor park or Blue Mesa??

Was wondering if any one had any info on Taylor or Blue Mesa? I seen some pictures of them with ice and word that some people ice fished Taylor but no info of how thick the ice was.

Take a spud bar and hit the ice if it doesn't go through on one hit start walking, keep hitting the ice every third step if it goes through back up 2 steps and fish.

I heard there is 6-8 inches at parts of blue Mesa but exercise caution. No specific info on Taylor but I would expect some fishable ice. It gets pretty cold over there. Those two are a long drive for an unknown. Good luck.
