Default Just another Greenie headed North

Last ice trip of the year for me is tomorrow and I am heading North to windy town then due West to fish some Plains lakes.

I have never iced any of them. Planning to start my adventure at the biggest lake, then move onto on of the smaller lakes if we have no luck. If any generous folks are willing to give me advice I would greatly appreciate it

Tight Lines all!

26F and 30 MPH winds. Are you insane?

If you insist on brutalizing yourself then I suggest Twin Buttes.

A friend sent me pics of 5-6 lb bows from a week ago.

Good Luck.

My sanity is questionable, but I have fished in worse. I am kinda worried about that for the two friends I plan to bring along though. I don't think they have as much caveman DNA as me...

Well I just talked to the West Laramie Fly store. Hattie is 50 percent open. The winds have been doing a number. Still going fishing, but going to change my location. Probably will stay in Colorado.
