I agree.

11-mile was 85% iced friday. Open from inlet to stoll mt almost.

Should be way more open today.

Antero had a 30-50ft. sliver all around north end from dam to boat ramp.

Should be way more open today.

Almost party time I guess.

I went up for opener last year (wading from shore); forget that man; way too many people.
I'd rather catch a few dinky fish and have some solitude than be stacked-up on the shores for opener.
Though I'll be jealous when I see all the pigs you guys post from that event.

Was over to our place yesterday. I can see the west end of Spinney and 11 mile.
No ice in sight.
This Saturday or next opening day.

Called the 11 mile office. Option 2 was for ice conditions. Hit number 2 for fun standing there looking at open water. Recording recommended to stay off the ice.

Talked to a person about opening day.
Rangers still have to place marker buoys and make the call for opening day.
The lakes have to be ice free.
