Sportsmen's Warehouse said there was 8inches of ice on G-Town..Anyone else?

yeah, I believe it - fished it last weekend and there was about 4" - safe to fish. It'll be windy tho - bring a good wind breaker.

I drove by it yesterday, ice looked crystal clear from the highway, saw a handful of people ice fishing, looked like they were about 15 yards from the shore, also saw about 4 other people getting ready to head out.

I was the guy 15 yards of the shore good ice 6-7 inch of ice was very clear till the snow came down. Caught quite a few slimers, fish seemed very spooky. Good luck.
