Default Gross Snowmobiles/Quads, illegal but do people listen?

I know the fork has rules regarding using them, however it is not enforced and people will NOT walk that distance. What about Gross, anyone use something other than their feet/child to get out on the ice?

Fished Gross a lot last season and only saw foot traffic.

Gross has a strong ranger presence. Isn't it part of Denver's watershed? Aside from that, I don't want to hear sleds or quads up there. Not opposed to them at all...just like peace and quiet in some places. I wouldn't want to miss out on the wind howling! Wouldn't be that bad a trek to get to most places on the lake. Snowshoes or skis!

out of all the ice on all the lakes in colorado I would peg gross as the the most unsafe. You could not pay me to bring my sled out there. Also that is Denver/Boulders main watersupply. We are lucky that we can ice fish it. And don't forget Louisville and Boulder water is rated worldly as the most pure water known to man. That is real important! Ha
