Default Twin Lakes?

Heading to Twin Lakes 1st or 2nd weekend of February and i am planning on targeting lakers but just not sure what part of the lake or which lake to even start at (lower or upper) I just got a map of the lake and seems to me the lakers would be more in the shallower range like maybe in less then 50 fow but i am just not sure. What i have found out though is 3" glow tube jigs with sucker meat is workin for lakers but do you use a whole small size sucker or just cut off a chunk of the meat?? Any recommendations on locations to get started at and any tips on riggin bait would be greatly appreciated, you can pm me with any info if you like. Thank you all

Never fished Twin Lakes, but as far as rigging the bait goes, make it look as streamline as possible. Meaning the sucker meat should not be longer or wider than the tube jig, when viewed from below. I use a piece of a larger sucker. Make sure the hook goes through the skin because the meat will hold on better. Glow, White, and chartruese are all good colors for lakers. The jigging action is just, if not more important than the jig color. Deadsticking, stuble jigging, and aggressive jigging will work depending on what the fish want, which can change throughout the day. The fish are usually holding within three feet of the bottom.
