Default South Metro Ice Conditions

Has anyone heard about the ice thickness at Bear Creek? I was out there on Tuesday and the shoreline by the boatramp was getting pretty soft. The open section of water has gotten just a tad bit bigger due to the warm temps over the past few days. Thanks!

Can't tell you about Bear Creek, but just want to say I love that forum name.

I may be out there Monday but who knows...it's supposed to warm up pretty fast again. I might as well wait for open water.

some dumb a$$ can find a way to fall thru just about at any lake at any time. i find that "offices" exagerate incedents. i was on loveland the morning after that gal fell thru there at early ice, we were just fine 8 inches of ice. how can that be you ask? she chased her dog out on the ice by the inlet. and it can go the other way as well, just because some else says they fished there yesterday, dont assume its safe test the ice. that the only way to tell
