Default Any word on Jefferson?

Just wondering if anyone has made the attempt lately, I'm sure not much has changes since the last thread of this sort.

I doubt if there is any improvement from last week. We went up to Tarryall on sunday and south park has tons of snow. Can't see there has been much if any melting when you get into the trees and out of the sun.

Its still going to be a while before Jefferson is accessible.

Jefferson is accessible although it makes alot of sense to go in with a buddy or two on paddle tracked machines.

The friend I work with (in Denver) that lives in Fairplay made it in at 9:00 am on Monday. She usually gets here at 6:00 am. She said the wind was so bad that it was white-out conditions all through south park.

Good luck and take a shovel....if it's been that windy, then access may be tough.

My father inlaw and I went down there on Satuday the 5th and you can make it north out of town about 1.5 miles before the road drifts over. Did i mention big drifts? I wanted to try out my new tracks on the quad but did not want to push it too hard and for such a long distance with both of us on it. I need to get a two place trailer so i can bring my snowmobile also. I want to ice that lake bad! Hope this helps.

If i cant make i may just head over to 11mile. I'm sure there's still plenty of ice there.
