I'm not really an ice fisherman..................but I do know that it would break my heart to lose a trophy class fish because I drilled too small a hole. I say.........go big or go home.

I was fishing Green Mtn. last year and saw a guy step in a 10" hole, when he pulled his foot out the boot went 180' to the bottom. That was the fastest I have ever seen anybody run off the lake in a sock.

You missed a good walleye dinner, a chance to fish with bernie for free and a 250+ rod a reel for that last night?

Whether fishing for free with Bernie is a good thing or not depends...

...on whether you're Bernie!
