Default A Rumor About a New Berkley Gulp Bait for Ice Fishing...

There's a rumor that Berkley is working on a Gulp! Alive! version of the ever so popular ice fishing bait, the minnow head. Reportedly it's going to be realistic looking and even will have tendrils hanging off of it that replicate the tissue and organs of an actual minnow head. Pretty cool if you ask me. Let see if it actually happens.

Alive is expensive, but a small thing of it can last for a long time. I think it's worth it.

Anybody use the Gulp Alive red wrigglers or any of the other jarred Gulp Alive baits? I keep seeing them at work and am curious as to how well they work - s'pose you could soak your other baits in the stuff...a lot cheaper than the buckets of Alive minnows... more like $5-$6 a jar...

Just wondering.

I've used a few of those thing with success for gills and trout, and also perch and bass. Pretty good stuff.
