Default Front range ice

-0 degrees temp. We should have some ice capping on some local lakes here. Good for a weekday jaunt soon. Be careful, and PM me the hotspots!
Except Chatfield,..I can't catch a cold there.

I saw a few ponds that were completely capped on Saturday. With this weather they might be safe very soon.

Which ones even allow ice fishing? Going through the fishing close to home book only a few mention anything about ice fishing.

My thermometer 5 miles south of Brighton reads -14 degrees farenheit right now.....could well hit 20 below by dawn. I just checked the forcast on www.wunderground.com and it looks like will will hit 0 or below for at least the next six or seven consecutive days. Maybe you more experienced guys can tell me what that will do for the local ice conditions. Haven't been doing it long enough to know what it takes down here.

with temps like that we should see a few places get a lid, but next week it supposed to be in the 50's. So i guess we'll see, how much do you weigh....i'll let you walk out first lol
