Default Lon Hagler ice

I checked it out today, for all of you fine people. Kodiak and Slayer might get out on it, but people with good sense wouldn't. There are about 2 inches of ice on the place ( I drilled off the dock) and I will wait a while before I give it a shot.

Nice.

I'd let K0d1ak walk out there before me any day.

I keep hearing ice fishing reports every year of nice Crappie catches at L.H. Does anyone know where? I would love to get into some slabs!

Goot go deep, they'll be in bunches, sorry I don't have any spots there though.

thebig1 is one to ask but having not fished it for those crappie. I would also say start about 20ft along the damn any points or humps you find in these spots should hold some crappie.
they will move around a bit so it might mean drilling a few hole until you find a sweet spot they like to rome. I have found in most of these lakes in the summer they tend to hold off the same humps and points day to day. remember soft mouths so a soft hook set is needed I would use ultra light rods for these fish
