Default question

I'm trying to find out if there is an attachment for power augers to attach to a hand auger? I know the measurements for the power auger are 7/8" and the hand augers are 3/4", just didn't know if you could mate them up somehow?

I know Ice Gator sells adaptors for their units you might be able to use. You can check them out at this link and maybe contact them for specs! Scroll down to adaptors.

let me start by saying... you will run the risk of damaging the hand auger since it will be less stout than a power auger and not meant for the torque a power head will provide if it binds up... that said, anything is do-able... could be as simple as fitting a piece of metal pipe into the power head that has a large enough inside diameter to recieve the hand auger shaft, mite have to drill to fit. drill a hole thru the pipe and hand auger shaft and run a bolt thru to hold together. use a large enough and hard enough bolt to handle the torque. lastly, be sure to match the hand auger direction of cut to the power head direction of travel. good luck... we're all countin' on ya .

If it uses a Jiffy power head, it's a counter clockwise rotation on the bit...

Strikemaster or Eskimo will be a clockwise rotation.

So first you need to know the rotation of the power head..If counter clockwise, you can order a bit here.

These look like clockwise bits, you could call and ask...Looks like you need to order blades also.
