Default Is the Ice still safe after this warm weather?

I want to go ice fish Lon Hagler tomorrow am and I was wondering if the ice would still be considered safe to fish on after the nice weather we had today in Loveland? Tomorrow the weather is supposed to hit the mid to low 50's. I am new to the ice fishing scene so I have no experience to draw on.

Thank you, Lonny

ps, i assume all responsibility for my own actions and will take all advice at my own risk!

Might get kinda risky as the week continues. Take some ice spikes if you are going. Better safe then sorry. Be safe! You never know ehwn you are going to hit that spot. My friend has fallen through 3 times. He fell through one year and left his auger out on the ice. Brand new!

It's going to be 60+ degrees tomorrow with very high winds later in the day. Especially closer to the foothills. Tomorrow should be fine in places that were safe today but tuesday will be a different story. If water opens up and the wind is blowing the ice can peel off real quick.

If you go, don't go alone. Thats the best advice I can give ya bro. That ice will be singing, thats for sure.

Getting on in the mornings should be OK, but getting off may be a bit hairy! PK

most definate dont go alone,
but like some of us the temptation is harsh so at least fish in the same area that you see someone else, strike up a conversation.

This wind can do a number on the ice.

was on boyd on sat. the ice was 9". at 9" you can drive on it. but it should be good for a bit yet. like others have said, wind can kill the ice when its warm out. if it is just warm and no wind the ice should be fine for awhile. it takes a bit to melt 9". just look for spring holes.
