Default Help on spots to fish near Pagosa Sprinds?

Can anyone give me any ideas on some spots to hit near Pagosa Springs? I'm gonna fish Williams Lake a bit I've never been there before so any help will be appreciated. Any other spots to hit close by/ I was thinking about Villecitos, are there still some good sized Trout in there?

Navajo is awsome but without a boat it could be difficult

Are you looking to ice fish? I think Vallecito may be frozen..............and yes..........as far as I know it still holds big trout and pike. Navajo doesn't freeze I don't think............like said........may be tough in the winter w/o a boat. Plenty of river fishing around there if that's what you're after. Take a pair of skiis and hit Wolf Creek Ski Area.................just up the road.

Vallecito and Lemon would be the closest that I know of.

Yes I was tryijng to do some ice fishing up there so not Navajo. At Villecitos I would like to pull a Pike through the ice , any help? I've never caught a Pike through the ice before. Will an 8 inch auger be big enough? I thought I could pulll it off.
I think we will be about 1 hour from Villecitos. Any other lakes with some good icefishing near there?

The North end of Vallecito is the best for pike.
