The Laramie River Road isn't maintained from Chambers to just about Glendevy during the winter. If you want to access Honholz, you will have to drive through Laramie. Honholz #2 is a fun little lake in the winter. Last year I went up with a couple of friends during the first week of January and we caught about 60 - 70 fish.

Fished Chambers yesterday, real bumpy ice, but safe. barely enough snow to get in from the road on sleds. fishing was good, no big fish, maybe one lost. caught maybe 20 lakers from 6" to 17" good variety, looks good for the future anyhow.
