I got a report that last weekend the fishing was horrible, skunkings all around. Only report I've heard though.

$11 - one rod only, Ice should be safe - somebody posted last week that it was open. $11 should about cover your gas to Tarryall or Antero and back from Bailey.

We fished it on Saturday (12-27) and it was not a post worthy trip. The ice is ~6" with some open spots near the edges. Our group ended up with four stocker bows. We popped several holes anywhere from 8'- 18'. All fish were caught ~13' of water on pink tubes tipped with mealies. That lake is like rolling the dice in my opinion. Good luck if you go.

Great spot for laker bait. I don't think they have a limit on how many suckers you harvest too. Pick your bait up about 2 or 3 feet from the bottom, your sucker count will go down a little and may get a cruising palomino.

I agree last year I went 3 times and had a good time on all. I haven't been there this year myself, just relaying the lone report I've heard recently.
