same size and shape and action as the little critters swimming around down there.

See 'em on the camera the whole time. Wish I'd seen something besides them and crawdads today at the 'Mile. Twitch gently.

The color isnt remotely close to anything that lives down there...I wonder what color rods/cones trout have in their eyeballs...if any...ie what they can see...they sure seem to be able to tell the difference between a size 20 black midge and a red one...just interesting that there isnt anything that color down below the ice...and scuds when they die I thought they were more orange like other shrimp...so shouldnt orange rat finkees work better?...

Well hey, it was just a WAG. Kokanee seem to have an instinct to hit pink aggressively too. I take all the pinks I can find. Some days it's bubblegum, some days hot pink. Guess we'll have to wait for Jangalang to give us the real answer.

jangs caught in work sucker

but from what I remeber him telling me is that the scuds are olive and alive when they mate a scud will keep its eggs close to its belly until they hatch the eggs are a shade of orange, when they die its like it was said befor they take on a more pink tone. thats a scud in a nut shell?

but what else do fish eat? you know what they say? the bigger the bait, the bigger the bite!
