Can't fish at any of the Colorado Springs Utilities reservoirs. Rampart, Montgomery, Penrose/Rosemont, and the three on the Peak, North and South Catamount and Crystal Creek are all closed to ice fishing. Don't know why? Don't make any sense

Colorado Springs will take a lot of water out of these reservoirs and that can make it very dangerous. There can become a huge pocket of air between the ice and water.
