Default Ice fishing

My brother ice fished this morning at 10,800 feet. He is not on this fishing forum. I will ask him for some pictures tonight.

Okay. Trying to post my brothers pictures that he sent me last night. He ice fished at 10,800 feet and asked that I not share his location. Thanks for the personal messages and for offering to post the pictures for me. Your hints helped a lot with tinypic.

Looks like it is official, drilled hole in ice, fished through the hole, caught a fish, didn't fall through the ice!

NICE!! Pretty cool looking.......... Brookie?

Any more info you can provide us with? How thick was the ice? Was the whole lake/pond covered fully or only partially? Was this the only fish caught?

You def. got my blood pumping, thanks for posting!!

So what makes you guys think this report is legit? Just curious.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Color me cynical. It's part of the job description.

I can't specifically say this report is legit.

But I do think there is ice fishing to be had. My plan was to go hunt some early ice last Sun-Mon but I got slammed by the flu last Fri. I iced on Oct 24th last year and it has been much colder this year.

You guys are brutal.

Was that at St Mary's above Alice? Thats about the same altitude that you mentioned and I wanted to ice there and figured that'd be my first trip of the season. If so, congrats to your brother on being the first (to post) about it, even if it was through you.
