Default Safe ice

Is there any ice safe or any ice for that matter right now?

Got the fever to hit the lakes.

Had good luck before the storm a good size trout outta Cherry Creek.

Fishing is there anything else in life

Georgetown had a complete lid yesterday. It is probabaly open today. Your still 2-3 weeks away from safe ice above 9'000 ft. My guess is probably longer anywhere below that. Especially with the weather going back to nice. When is the next storm?

o ya this will probably get moved

I fished Brainard Lake yesterday (10-31-09). It has 4 to 5 inches. St Mary's and Black Lakes (at Vail Pass) ice early too.

I can't believe georgetown had a complete lid. if that's lidded up, then I wonder what dillon looks like, or officers gulch.... a place that's completely in the shadows....

On the same day, Dillon was completley open.. Not sure of the snake river inlet, other side, its usually the first to ice up.. Officers had some edge ice but was still open.
