Default I Got To Get Out On The Ice! Need Some Intel

Im itchin to get out on the ice. ive sharpened my auger blades like 60 times, tinkered with my lure box a million times and watched countless hours of t.v from the seat of my flip over ice shelter! I GOT TO GET OUT! Any news on ice on Georgetown? if not, then what is your opinion on St. Marys lake cause thats my second option....
Thanks Guys

From what I've seen in reports, Georgetown would be sketch at best....

St. Mary's should definatly be safe... (but probabaly crowded )

Anywhere above 10K or so should have a decent lid on it.

hate to tell yall but i fished gtown on friday after work (half day). big lake not much ice 1-2" at best but the smaller part was safe. i fished on 3" of ice caught a handful of dinks and one decent 16" bow. should be safe by now tho but who knows. get out there and give it a whirl and see what happens.

St. Mary's was fun for first ice and since not many people were on it when we went. But I don't think I'll go there again this year. I have other places I need to hit and the hike and drive aren't worth it to me.

The 2 lakes I was at today had 12" and 14" of ice. Very windy and just a few bites. Nice day for a hike.
