Default Structure on a String

We've all seen the ads and videos.

Drill a pattern of holes around your icing spot and attract fish by weighting down the end of plastic Christmas garland and lower it down and tying it off to create your own weed line. That stuff should really be cheap on 12/26.

Has anyone been successful with this stuff?
