I've never fished it, so I don't know where they do the weighing. It's a great idea, though!

A friend of mine has done it in the Twin Lakes tournament in years past, but I heard there was a problem with it last year and they were killing all the fish brought to the weigh-in at Twin. I wasn't there, so I don't know.

I fish it pretty much every year. While I might catch, I hardly look at it before it goes back. Don't even think about that...think about how to even freakin enter a money winner in that tourney. There's some locals...then us, that tourney somewhat seriousely (crap easy word like that...sp?) is tough. Rad if I remember rightly took 2nd in Brown for $750 last year. Top prize $ is only a grand but well worth it. Spend a couple o days outta Denver, good food, good company, good fishin. A #2 bow might win you a grand...you gonna keep it or let it go. A 20" mac might win you a grand you gonna keep it or let it go. A 43" mac might win you a grand...you gonna keep it or let it go. The big fish gets let go, the smaller fish I'll keep.

that does work but you still gotta be quick, we have released some and then caught -em again a couple years later. Bernie www.fishingwithbernie.com
