Default Another drive by conditions report

Not to piss off Ice Fisher but I drove by Bear Creek Res. on 285 and noticed a few folks out on the ice. I hope it isn't too thin I'm thinking about going there tomorrow.

I would highly recommend anyone going out to have/use their spud bar this weekend.

Thanks for the report. OK, now we can we please call a truce? I just want to fish.

I think we all just are itching to fish bro.......you just caught me on a bad day. I just get tired of people complaining about the info they get here on CF........after all it is freely given and almost always of at least some usefulness no matter how vague it is. I just hate to see guys deterred from contributing anything at all. I don't think it is a stretch to say alot of the most talented members basically never post anymore for the above reason and others....just a thought.

It's all good guys, just having a little fun and reporting that folks were fishing Bear Creek. I'm not too sure if I'll try it tomorrow or not without really knowing how thick the ice is. It was probably slayer and trout out there on 2".

We wondered about that too. Saw a few folks out there while on our way to Antero yesterday.

Curious as to how the ice is there. Could be fun.

There is anywhere from 1 to 5 inches out on BC and it is hard to tell where the 1 inch ice is because of the snow. Most of the areas that aren't covered have better ice but anyone that goes exploring out there right now without a spud bar is risking a cold swim! I found 3 areas that I put my bar through with one blow and backed up real quick, very scary. The fishing was ok for trout on Monday but didn't see a fish in the same areas on Tuesday-gotta love Bear Creek!
