Default Gulp maggots...

I'm gonna try these out tomorrow. I got some white ones. Anyone had any luck using these through the ice?

Just curious...

Used some at Antero the other week when we ran out of waxies and mealies.

I would say they def. work pretty good!! We only had Chartr Green and Pink.

I wish we would have had white though!!

One tip - if you chew, your chew is gonna taste like, yeah, you guessed it, Gulp Alive Maggots.

Moral of that story - use tweezers for one or don't chew.

(Learned this from one of our pro staff who doesn't use them for the same reason.)

They are our standby deadly weapon. For trout and others.

Apparently deadly on lake trout too. (Dip your tube jig in the juice).

Keep them upright, well closed inside 2 ziploc bags. DON'T spill them on your bibs. You will stink forever if you do. Take some wet wipes so the wheel of your vehicle doesn't smell like them after the trip home.

For those that have used them, how do they compare against the use of live bait (waxies, mealies or maggots)? Do you fare better, worse or about the same.

About the same, but last longer... dont have to put them on after every hookset and can last a couple fish.
