They look good, I am big fan of marabou for the tail since it breathes more in the water...I also like the thinest chenille for the body that I can find to keep the hook gap as wide as it can be...nice job!!!...

I see only one problem with them... They are not in my tackle box! Seriously they look great. I really like the bright color combos. What size jig head/hook size are they made with?

Dude - they look pretty darn edible. Try a strand or two of either gold or holographic tinsel in the tails. Sometimes helps.
That orange looks very deadly too. I'm looking for some glow in the dark stuff myself. (Even if it's just glo tinsel!)

I tied these little fellas up for Antero. All have Golden Pheasant Tippet tails (I had a pig tear off one of the orange chenille and
grizzly hackle jigs last year, and so help me, I'm gonna get another fish like that!)

All are on 1/64 oz gold plated jigheads. Uncle Shad, keep on tyin!

If you guys are interested in more ice jigs and flies, here's a link to last year's thread. All the jigs I tied were pretty small, but many would likely translate well to bigger sizes. (Gives you an excuse to raid the hobby store and the wife's and kids yarn collection!) The little white 'soggy mealworm' has just produced like crazy - the scud hook practically sets itself. https://www.coloradofisherman.com/for...?topic=38204.0
