I've never fished the bead xcaddis, just saw a pic like that online, liked it and thought I would try a few. I'll let you know how they do.

And absolutely getting ready for spring and summer.

Got to love fishing caddis paterns! Those are what got me hooked on Fly Fishing. As a beginner fishing freestone streams a elk hair caddis would take fish regardless of my poor technique and bad drifts.. Kept me going until I learned to cast well and manage line. Slapping it down on the water, skittering across the surface or diving under water at the end of a drift all worked. And seeing the fish materialize and seeing the wake as it chased it down is a thrill.

So the Bead Xcaddis, is that a plastic Bead? Nice ties!
