Default New Rim Chung fly tying videos on YouTube

For those of you who're interested, I had a professional quality video shot of Rim Chung tying his RS2 fly. The video was made in 2012. Last Sunday he agreed to release it publicly. So if you are interested, below are the links to the videos.

For a better viewing experience, select Theater Mode and change video Quality from 480p to 720p.

Nice. Ran into Rim on the water about a month ago. Had 2 small RS11s tied on go figure!

That guy gave me a lot of tips how to fly fish back in the mid 80's . Him and a regular group of fellow fly fisherman would hit the middle section of Waterton most Saturdays. Really a nice generous guy learned a lot from him.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. That would make for a tiny midge jaw. Anyway had to google the idea and see what I could find. Only found one using hemostats and it did not look quite like Rim's.

I dont think I will be getting rid of my PEAK Vise anytime soon.

Yes, that's correct. The hemostat is being held by a jeweler's vise. He prefers this setup so that he can tie really tiny flies... down to size 32 on occasion. With the hemostat he can place his fingers very close to the hook.

He once borrowed my Renzetti Presentation 3000 Vise for a fly tying show. He had it sitting next to his own setup the entire time without using it. It was to show that he preferred his own setup.

The details of that 40-some year old vise:
Panavise, Colbert Die Cast Co. Patent # 2898068
