Nicely tied. This is one fly I never do well on unless it's for brookies, and well, they are like Mikey and eat anything. Legs are a nice addition.

Default My favorite Spinney Mtn. Dry

They look great, My favorite dry fly at Spinney is a double humpy with yellow body in size #6 or #8.
I do believe they think it's a double cheeseburger with bacon.

Anyone have issues tying a traditional humpy, try Charlie Craven's improved humpy. Looks the same, but without all the measuring.

They look great but like slab I never catch anything on a humpy. I donated mine to a kid who looked like he wouldn't catch anything anyways.

Hopefully you will have different results.

Thanks guys. I tied those up using craven's recipe. Makes it a lot easier.
