When I tie Callibaetis, I want movement... the gills are so prominent on them, and if you ever see underwater video of them, the movement of the gills is what you see first... I have also tied a simmilar pattern using three maribou feathers twisted for the abdomen... Tie it just like Charlies and then instead of using the "V" technique on the partridge, just wrap the partridge... this pattern may be my favorite cause it can represent so many differnet flies and the movement is just great. I hope this makes sense. I will try to get a picture up of this one. It is an easy tie.
