Default South Park Patterns

I'm starting to tie flies for fall fly fishing in South Park lakes. I was wondering if once things start cooling off this fall if the same patterns tend to work that have worked all summer or if patterns dramatically change in the fall? I've spent a great deal of time on Spinney when it first opens in the spring and imagine many of those patterns may work once things cool down and start freezing? Any tips would be appreciated!
