Default Realistic Flies

While looking for a good dragonfly nymph pattern I came across this site, maybe some of you have seen it already. True art!

I will stay with the comment of art, model insects are pretty gifts and flies are for fishing

I'm with ya on that one... If it takes more than 5 minutes to tie, its not worth making. Also, if you're afraid it will fall apart after 2 fish? Its not worth making.

There are a LOT of people who can't tie a Copper John in five minutes...

I am confident that most realistic flies end up in shadow boxes... there are a few realistics that are actually
quick ties, like ants, midge larvae/pupae, and worms...

Whatever floats yer boat...

Swimb-- proof in the pudding, I tied this about a year ago and I don't have a clue where it is. I know I didn't fish it
