Default Pike, Wiper, and Musky swap flies

Ok folks, the wait was long, but well worth it. Very nice flies, a good selection.... I hope some folks post up some piggies caught on some of these.

Great bunch of ties... I don't think I have been part of a swap where I really wanted to use every single fly I got... good stuff folks.

Got my flies in the mail today. Really, really awesome tiesl

this was the most satisfying swap I've participated in so far. Great tyers, no bail-outs and the limited enrollment really made this a fun one.

Sorelips, thanks again for hosting. Your fly was awesome, but if it doesn't work I'm clipping off the grizzly saddles and selling them to my local hair salon.

Oyey, what's the body of your popper made from?

The popper body is from a kit that includes pre-shaped bodies with hooks that you epoxy in place... I then use what I think is diamond braid tube over the top of the body (I will get the exact name when I get home tomorrow)... It is secured with a little epoxy then as the epoxy dries, I shape the tubing around the front of the body and then trim it off when it is completely dry. Then I dip the whole thing in softex when it is finished to secure everything.

Personally that is my favorite fly of the swap. I love poppers and can't wait to throw that soon! I love all the other flys as well. To echo Funk, this is my favorite swap that I have done on this forum! Thanks to every one who tied, Perfect flys for summer, no BS, Great flys!
