You don't have to buy the expensive one..... He has another for ONLY $1300.

Good greif Charlie Brown!

That aint squat for a WHOLE CHICKEN ! FYI - a grizzly Saddle is going for between $500 and $1,000 on ebay depending on grade. I just sold a Bronze Grade Grizzly Saddle for $600, only on there for 40 mins before it sold to a dude in kentucky.

Theres a Platinum Presentation Saddle selling for over $1k and still has a few days left.

These people are VORACIOUS FOR GRIZZLY !! You WILL get $600+ for a full saddle.

1/2 Saddles are going $250 -300 , 100's are going for $100.

Oh, and to think I was going to ask hubby for a Charlie Collins Dun Cree neck (buy the neck, get a free saddle) this year for a holidays present.... He does some of the most amazing rare and beautiful feathers - very small flock - he owns fewer birds than big ops like Whitings just processes in one week.

That's several *months* worth of mortgage payments....

Saw a great, handwritten sign on Charlie's Fly Box front door the other day....

"No Hair Feathers"

Kinda says it all. Just takes a 5X7 sheet of brown paper, a pencil, and some tape.

(Will also work as a sign to your regular loyal customers saying 'welcome back to reality')

There are so many ridiculous things about all of this, I won't start.

Anyone see the article on this in the latest Fly Tyer Magazine? Pretty interesting.

I don't use small grizzly too much, maybe for a couple different midge patterns, but its probably time to start looking for some alternatives...

Also, my mom is a hair stylist and now her and I are getting into it about this whole fad...

In Connecticut you need to present a fishing license in order to purchase the capes through a fly shop. Seeing as how they only cost around $30, it doesn't seem like much of a deterrent.
